T. Hawk (Thunder Hawk) joined Capcom's roster in Super Street Fighter II (1993) as a towering Native American warrior fighting to reclaim his people's land from Shadaloo. Quiet, proud, and immensely strong, he stands among Street Fighter's classic grapplers.
His story is grounded in duty. Shadaloo forces seized his homeland, and T. Hawk enters the fighting circuit to confront that injustice—especially the empire of M. Bison. His long hair, feathered headband, and massive frame give him an imposing silhouette.
In gameplay, T. Hawk is a big-body grappler: slower than shotos, but devastating if he gets close. He wants to walk opponents down, force respect with strong normals, and finish exchanges with command throws.
His signature tools include the Mexican Typhoon spinning throw, the Tomahawk Buster rising attack, and divekick-style approaches that help him close distance. When he connects, rounds can end quickly.
T. Hawk adds weight and sincerity to the Super Street Fighter II cast. He is not a flashy showman; he is a protector with a clear mission and the strength to carry it out.
If you enjoy grappler play—patient approaches, scary throw mix-ups, and huge punish damage—T. Hawk is an excellent character to learn.
